Ecofab Covers
The Ecofab Gondola Cover is most common and economical solution for product containment in open-top railcars and has been continually improved for over 45 years. This cover allows for full access to the railcar’s contents once removed, and our reliable yet straightforward locking system can be applied without modifying the railcar in most cases.
These fiberglass covers can be built to suit any size railcar and any load profile. Each cover is fitted with four automatic locks that enable a single operator on a forklift or crane to remove and replace the cover within minutes.
These covers can be easily stacked for transport or storage and, once fully equipped with locking hardware, weigh approximately 1850 lbs for a standard 52’ 6” gondola railcar.
The models is one piece and includes Ecofab decal set. NAFTA will have 4 x CP versions, 4 x CN versions a ONR Version and a modern version which is seen throughout North America today.
